Backend Engineer (Golang)

We're looking for a Backend Engineer (Go) with 1-2 years of experience in fintech to design, build, and maintain backend services that handle financial transactions with high standards of reliability and data integrity. Responsibilities: Design, build, and maintain backend services in GoDesign and implement REST APIs and gRPC services for internal and external consumersModel and optimize PostgreSQL schemas, queries, and migrationsImplement caching strategies to improve latency and reduce database loadContainerize services with Docker and support deployment pipelinesEnsure data integrity, idempotency, and correct handling of financial transactionsWrite tests, participate in code reviews, and contribute to technical documentation Qualifications: 1-2 years of backend engineering experience, preferably in fintechStrong PostgreSQL skills, including schema design, query optimization, transactions, and migrationsFamiliar with caching using Redis or equivalent, along with REST and gRPC API designComfortable working with Docker for containerized servicesSolid Git workflow, including branching, pull requests, and code reviewUnderstands fintech engineering practices such as idempotency, decimal precision for monetary values, audit logging, and safe concurrent transactionsGood communicator, proactive in flagging blockers, and open to learning new technologies
