Your Responsibilities
As a Software Engineer, you will be responsible for:
Designing and delivering software features from technical approach and API definition through to production monitoring.Translating ambiguous requirements into clear technical designs and identifying delivery, security, and performance risks early.Producing well-tested, documented, maintainable, and resilient code.Championing engineering standards through constructive code reviews, technical documentation, and knowledge sharing.Retaining operational ownership after release, including debugging, instrumentation, optimisation, and security improvements.
Mandatory Skills
You will have:
Expert proficiency in Swift, Apple platform frameworks, and the Xcode development and profiling toolchain.Working knowledge of Objective-C, Python, and shell scripting for interoperability, automation, tooling, and CI/CD workflows.Practical experience designing and consuming secure, versioned APIs with effective error handling and backward compatibility.Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, data modelling, caching, distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, and containerisation.A disciplined approach to unit, integration, and UI testing using XCTest, Swift Testing, or comparable frameworks.
