This is an exciting opportunity to join a high-profile federal government environment, contributing to the delivery of critical digital services and enterprise integration solutions. The Opportunity Our client is seeking a Senior Application Developer to support the design, development, and maintenance of enterprise integration solutions across a complex ICT landscape. You will play a key role in delivering modern cloud-based integrations, APIs, and digital services while collaborating with technical and business stakeholders to drive successful project outcomes. Responsibilities Design, develop and maintain Azure-based integration solutions and Web APIsBuild and enhance enterprise integration capabilities using Microsoft Azure servicesSupport data sharing and system interoperability across multiple enterprise platformsImprove and maintain Azure DevOps deployment pipelines and automation processesProduce and maintain technical documentation and architecture artefactsInvestigate and resolve complex application and integration issuesCollaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders to deliver project milestonesIdentify and manage delivery risks and recommend mitigation strategiesMentor developers and support teams on integration best practicesContribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the application lifecycleRequirements Essential Skills & Experience Formal qualifications in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related discipline, or equivalent industry experienceStrong experience developing integration solutions using Microsoft Azure, including: Azure Service BusAzure App ServiceAzure FunctionsAzure API ManagementDemonstrated experience developing solutions using the Microsoft technology stack, including .NET FrameworkStrong stakeholder engagement and communication skillsExperience working within complex ICT environments and multidisciplinary teamsKnowledge of application lifecycle management and ITIL practicesUnderstanding of current and emerging technologies and their business applicationsDesirable Skills Azure DevOps (VSTS) experienceSQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)Experience with ICT governance and project deliveryAgile delivery experienceRelevant Microsoft or industry certificationsWhy Join Akkodis?
