☁️ We’re Hiring: Platform Engineer | Cloud Platform Specialist🕒 Employment Type: Full-Time 💼 Level: Mid-Level to Senior We are seeking a highly skilled and infrastructure-focused Platform Engineer | Cloud Platform Specialist to design, build, maintain, and optimize scalable cloud platforms and internal infrastructure. This role will work closely with Software Engineering, DevOps, Security, and IT teams to improve platform reliability, automation, deployment efficiency, security, and developer experience across the organization. 🎯 Key Responsibilities• Design, build, and maintain scalable cloud platforms and infrastructure environments. • Develop reliable and secure platform services supporting application and engineering teams. • Manage cloud infrastructure across AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, or hybrid environments. • Implement Infrastructure as Code using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, Pulumi, or similar technologies. • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate application and infrastructure deployments. • Develop reusable infrastructure components, templates, modules, and platform services. • Automate provisioning, configuration, deployment, monitoring, and operational processes. • Manage containerized environments using Docker, Kubernetes, or similar technologies. • Design and maintain Kubernetes clusters, workloads, networking, storage, and security configurations. • Establish scalable platform standards and engineering best practices across development teams. • Monitor platform availability, performance, capacity, reliability, and resource utilization. • Troubleshoot infrastructure, networking, application-platform, and deployment-related issues. • Implement observability solutions covering logs, metrics, traces, alerts, and system health. • Collaborate with Software Engineering teams to improve developer workflows and deployment processes. • Develop self-service tools and platform capabilities that enable engineering teams to work efficiently. • Support application modernization, cloud migration, and digital transformation initiatives. • Design highly available, fault-tolerant, and disaster-resilient cloud infrastructure. • Implement backup, recovery, disaster-recovery, and business-continuity capabilities. • Work with Cybersecurity teams to implement cloud security controls and secure platform architectures. • Manage identity and access controls, secrets, encryption, network security, and infrastructure policies. • Apply security and compliance requirements throughout the platform lifecycle. • Monitor cloud resource usage and support infrastructure cost-optimization initiatives. • Establish governance standards for cloud accounts, subscriptions, environments, resources, and configurations. • Conduct capacity planning and performance optimization for cloud and platform infrastructure. • Participate in incident response, root-cause analysis, and post-incident improvement activities. • Maintain technical documentation, architecture diagrams, runbooks, operational procedures, and platform standards. • Evaluate new cloud services, infrastructure technologies, automation tools, and platform engineering practices. • Support platform upgrades, technology migrations, and lifecycle-management activities. • Establish reliability and operational metrics such as availability, latency, deployment frequency, and recovery performance. • Continuously improve platform automation, scalability, security, reliability, and developer experience. ✅ Requirements• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field. • Previous experience in Platform Engineering, Cloud Engineering, DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering, or a similar role. • Strong experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. • Strong understanding of cloud architecture, networking, compute, storage, databases, and security services. • Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, Pulumi, or equivalent technologies. • Strong experience with CI/CD tools and modern software-delivery practices. • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, or other container technologies. • Strong understanding of Linux and system administration. • Knowledge of networking concepts including DNS, TCP/IP, HTTP, load balancing, firewalls, VPNs, and routing. • Experience implementing monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability solutions. • Familiarity with tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, OpenTelemetry, Datadog, or similar platforms is advantageous. • Strong scripting or programming skills using Python, Bash, Go, PowerShell, or similar languages. • Understanding of Git, version control, branching strategies, and infrastructure automation. • Knowledge of cloud security, IAM, secrets management, encryption, and security best practices. • Experience designing highly available and fault-tolerant infrastructure. • Understanding of disaster recovery, backup, resilience, and business-continuity concepts. • Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and root-cause-analysis skills. • Familiarity with Agile, DevOps, SRE, or platform-engineering methodologies. • Strong understanding of system reliability, scalability, performance, and capacity management. • Excellent documentation and technical communication skills. • Ability to collaborate effectively with developers, architects, security teams, IT teams, and business stakeholders. • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced technical environment. •
