Location: Larnaca, Cyprus Salary: €28,000 – €44,000 per annum A growing fintech company based in Larnaca is looking to recruit an experienced Mid-Level Frontend Developer to join its Development team. The company develops modern digital financial products and solutions and offers a technology-driven environment where developers can work on challenging projects while continuously expanding their technical expertise. Job Description As a Mid-Level Frontend Developer, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and improving modern web applications and Single Page Applications (SPAs), with a strong focus on performance, usability, and maintainable code. Working closely with Product, Design, Backend, and QA teams, you will take ownership of assigned features, solve moderately complex frontend challenges, and contribute to technical and architectural discussions. The position offers a good level of independence while providing ongoing support and mentoring from experienced members of the development team. Responsibilities Develop, maintain, and improve modern web applications and Single Page Applications Build responsive, accessible, and user-friendly interfaces using modern frontend technologies Translate UI/UX concepts and designs into high-quality, maintainable code Integrate frontend applications with REST APIs Write clean, structured, and reusable code in line with established engineering standards Take ownership of assigned frontend features and development tasks Troubleshoot, debug, and optimise applications across different browsers and devices Participate in code reviews and provide constructive technical feedback Contribute to improvements in frontend performance, scalability, quality, and maintainability Participate in technical and architectural discussions Collaborate closely with Product, Design, Backend, and QA teams Participate in Agile development processes and continuously develop technical knowledge and best practices Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent relevant technical experience Approximately 2–4+ years of professional experience in frontend or web development Demonstrated experience developing and maintaining modern web applications and SPAs Strong knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3 Good knowledge of TypeScript Good knowledge of a modern JavaScript framework such as Vue.js, Angular, or React Solid understanding of HTTP, REST APIs, browser rendering, caching, and web performance Good understanding of SPA architecture, responsive design, accessibility standards, and cross-browser compatibility Knowledge of CSS preprocessors such as Sass or LESS Familiarity with modern build tools such as Vite or Webpack Good knowledge of Git and version-control workflows Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills Ability to independently manage assigned technical tasks and priorities Professional proficiency in English and Greek Commercial experience with Vue.js, frontend testing frameworks such as Vitest, Jest or Cypress, CI/CD pipelines, and frontend performance optimisation will be considered an advantage.
