About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Infrastructure Engineer to take ownership of our AWS platform, deployment systems, and tooling, enabling our small, elite team to operate at the scale of a much larger organization.
Reporting directly to the Head of Engineering, this high-impact individual contributor role offers end-to-end responsibility for building, deploying, securing, and operating our software infrastructure — including the infrastructure supporting our AI agents.
The ideal candidate will leverage AI tools themselves, such as agents and large language model (LLM) tooling, to solve infrastructure challenges.
This role is crucial in ensuring our platform's reliability, security, and scalability as we continue to innovate and grow.

Qualifications
Extensive hands-on experience designing, building, and operating production AWS infrastructureProficiency in infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform, AWS CDK, or similarStrong understanding of modern deployment practices including containers, CI/CD pipelines, and zero-downtime releasesExperience integrating AI tools, coding agents, and LLMs into infrastructure management and automationKnowledge of security and compliance standards such as SOC 2 and HIPAAProficiency in building and maintaining scalable, reliable infrastructure for enterprise applicationsStrong scripting and software development skills, with a builder’s mindsetAbility to automate repetitive tasks and solve complex operational problems using AI-driven solutionsExcellent problem-solving skills with a focus on reliability, security, and efficiencyHigh ownership mentality, pragmatic approach, and a focus on team velocity and platform stability
Responsibilities
Own the entire AWS infrastructure, including architecture, networking, cost management, and scalabilityDevelop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and deployment systems to enable frequent, reliable releasesLeverage AI tools and coding agents to automate infrastructure management, incident response, and operational tasksDesign and implement infrastructure supporting our AI agents, including execution environments and observability pipelinesEnsure platform reliability, security, and compliance to meet enterprise standards and customer trustEnhance security posture and support compliance efforts as we expand into new marketsBuild automation, paved roads, and AI-powered tooling to accelerate engineering productivityCollaborate with engineering teams to troubleshoot, debug, and optimize infrastructure and operational workflowsMonitor system health, respond to incidents, and implement improvements to prevent future issues
