The Client Experience Technology team develops and maintains Schwab’s primary digital channels, creating seamless experiences across web, mobile, and downloadable platforms. As a Software Engineer, you will help deliver reliable, scalable web applications that make it easier for clients to engage with Schwab. You will design, develop, test, and support full-stack solutions using JavaScript, HTML, CSS, TypeScript, Angular, C#, and .NET technologies. You will solve application issues, evaluate technical options, contribute to implementation decisions, and strengthen quality through code reviews, unit testing, automated delivery, and production support. Working with developers, technical leads, product owners, and quality assurance partners, you will turn business and technical requirements into valuable client experiences. Success requires thoughtful problem-solving, sound decision-making, effective collaboration across locations and time zones, and adaptability as technologies and priorities evolve. What you have Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience2+ years of full-stack web development experienceExperience developing .NET web applications and services using C#Experience with Angular, TypeScript, and client-side frameworksExperience with JavaScript, HTML, and CSSExperience creating and consuming REST APIsExperience developing responsive, single-page web applications Preferred Qualifications Experience applying unit testing patterns and TDD or BDD methodologiesKnowledge of Agile fundamentals and experience contributing within a Scrum-based delivery teamAbility to analyze complex application issues, evaluate alternatives, and implement sustainable solutionsAbility to collaborate across engineering, product, and quality assurance teamsAbility to adapt to changing priorities, technologies, and distributed working environmentsExperience with web content management systemsStrong written and verbal communication skillsExperience contributing to code reviews, CI/CD pipelines, deployments, monitoring, or production support In addition to the salary range, this role is eligible for bonus or incentive opportunities.
