About The Role We are seeking a skilled PHP Developer to join our dynamic team at Arete Technologies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in PHP development, application maintenance, and migration projects involving PHP and .Net technologies. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining robust web applications, ensuring seamless functionality across various platforms and operating systems. The PHP Developer will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions that align with client specifications and industry standards. The successful candidate will possess a deep understanding of web technologies, databases, and software development life cycles. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.Minimum of 5+ years of professional experience in PHP development.Proven experience in application maintenance and migration from PHP to .Net and vice versa.Proficiency in designing and building applications using PHP, ASP.Net, WordPress, XML, CSS, HTML, Bootstrap, Visual Basic, Web Services, and JavaScript.In-depth knowledge of programming across diverse operating systems and platforms using various development tools.Experience working with Oracle and MySQL databases.Ability to develop comprehensive technical documents, including system design, acceptance plans, scripts, and implementation strategies.Strong coding skills with a focus on producing high-quality, maintainable source code.Experience with functional, non-functional, unit, and integration testing methodologies.Proficiency in troubleshooting, debugging, and optimizing applications.Ability to evaluate, customize, and maintain off-the-shelf software solutions.Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly and effectively.
