About The Role
We’re seeking a hands-on and strategic Principal DevOps Engineer to lead the evolution of our cloud-native infrastructure.
This pivotal role is ideal for an experienced professional with a deep understanding of AWS, Kubernetes, and infrastructure as code tools like Terraform and Terragrunt.
The successful candidate will be passionate about automation, cloud optimization, and enabling engineering teams to ship features quickly and safely.
You will drive our infrastructure strategy, lead cross-team initiatives, and establish best practices across deployment, observability, security, and cost management.
As a senior leader within the organization, you will mentor engineering teams, influence technical standards, and ensure the reliability and security of our cloud environment.

Qualifications
8+ years of experience in DevOps, Infrastructure, or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), including 2+ years in a senior or principal roleDeep expertise with AWS services such as EKS, EC2, IAM, VPC, and S3Expert-level knowledge of Kubernetes in production environmentsProficiency with Helm for application deployment and lifecycle managementStrong hands-on experience with Terraform and Terragrunt for infrastructure as codeProficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or GoExperience building and maintaining GitOps workflows, e.g., Argo CDProven ability to monitor, analyze, and optimize AWS costsSolid understanding of Linux, networking, and cloud security principlesExcellent communication skills with a collaborative and leadership-oriented mindset
Responsibilities
Own and manage our Kubernetes platform by architecting, managing, and scaling EKS clusters using best practicesStandardize application deployments through the development and maintenance of Helm charts to ensure scalability and consistencyManage cloud infrastructure in AWS utilizing Terraform and Terragrunt to create reproducible and reliable infrastructure-as-code across various environmentsAnalyze AWS usage and implement cost optimization strategies to reduce unnecessary expenditure without impacting performance or reliabilityImplement and maintain observability systems, including metrics, logs, and alerting, to support system availability and performanceEnforce security best practices by managing IAM policies, securing networking, and overseeing secrets managementPartner with development, product, and security teams to design scalable infrastructure solutions and lead large-scale engineering initiativesMentor and guide engineering teams, setting standards for DevOps practices and fostering a culture of continuous improvement
