About The Role We are seeking a Backend Developer (m/w/d) to join our dynamic team at KEOZ GmbH. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend services within a microservice architecture. Your expertise will contribute to building innovative solutions that meet high standards of performance, quality, and maintainability. You will work closely with cross-functional teams using agile and traditional development methodologies, ensuring the delivery of robust backend systems that support our company's growth and technological advancement. Qualifications Very good proficiency in German, both spoken and written (native or bilingual level). Ability to commute to the office twice a week is expected.Extensive experience in backend development with Node.js.Hands-on experience with Fastify or similar HTTP frameworks.Proficient in using TypeORM as an ORM tool.Knowledge of Dependency Injection, preferably with Awilix.Practical experience with test-driven development (TDD), ideally using Tap.Multiple years of experience developing scalable backend services within a microservice architecture.Familiarity with relational database systems such as PostgreSQL or MySQL.Strong understanding of Clean Code principles and software design best practices.Experience with agile and traditional development methodologies.High quality awareness, team-oriented mindset, and proactive approach to process improvements.Focus on delivering high-performance, maintainable, and reliable code. Responsibilities Develop and enhance modern, scalable backend services within a microservice architecture.Implement requirements with a focus on quality, performance, and maintainability.Apply both agile and traditional development methodologies collaboratively within the team.Plan, implement, and automate testing scenarios following TDD principles.Document code, system architecture, and workflows comprehensively.Analyze, diagnose, and resolve technical issues efficiently.Continuously improve development processes and technical infrastructure by adopting modern technologies.
