About The Role We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Software Developer (m/w/d) to join our dynamic team. Qualifications A successfully completed university degree in (Business) Informatics, Computer Science, or a comparable qualification with proven professional experience in software development or IT automation.Initial experience in technical leadership, coordination, or mentoring of development teams, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly.Solid knowledge of Java and Spring (Boot), experience in building microservices (REST APIs), and familiarity with frontend technologies such as Angular or scripting languages like Python are advantageous.Hands-on experience operating cloud environments, preferably Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including Cloud Functions and Terraform, along with CI/CD tools like Jenkins or GitLab.A strong passion for process automation, clean code principles, and agile working methodologies.Team-oriented mindset, motivation to innovate, and a proactive approach to transforming manual processes into automated digital solutions. Responsibilities Design and develop scalable, resilient cloud architectures that support our digital transformation and automation initiatives, ensuring integration with our enterprise insurance systems.Lead and coordinate technical activities within your squad, acting as a mentor and knowledge-sharing resource for team members.Develop intelligent automation logic to enable full or partial automated processing of customer requests, enhancing service quality and accessibility.Implement and optimize performant services using Java and Spring, including automated testing (JUnit, Jest, Cypress) and managing deployments through CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab).Oversee the operational aspects of automation software, ensuring stability, performance, and continuous improvement.Collaborate across teams to ensure seamless integration of new features and architectures, maintaining high standards of code quality and security.
