About The Role We are seeking a dedicated DevOps Engineer (m/w/d) to join our dynamic team at our Konstanz location. In this role, you will be instrumental in building and maintaining the virtualized infrastructure that supports our software development processes within an air-gapped environment. Your responsibilities will include developing and implementing continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, as well as GitOps workflows, to ensure seamless and automated software delivery. Collaboration is key in this position; you will work closely with software development teams and IT specialists to integrate new technologies and optimize existing systems. Your efforts will contribute to maintaining the security and integrity of our infrastructure, ensuring compliance with stringent security standards. Additionally, you will be responsible for creating comprehensive technical documentation, supporting the ongoing maintenance and evolution of our infrastructure. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work at the forefront of secure, high-performance IT systems in a highly specialized environment. Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess a completed degree in computer science, information technology, or a comparable qualification, along with relevant professional experience in a DevOps environment. Practical knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker is essential. Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools is advantageous, enabling automation and consistency across infrastructure deployments. Candidates should be proficient with CI/CD tools and pipelines, demonstrating the ability to streamline software integration and deployment processes. Familiarity with collaboration platforms, version control systems, and development environments is required. Strong scripting skills in languages like Python and Bash are necessary to automate tasks and improve workflows. A solid understanding of Linux operating systems, coupled with excellent communication skills in German, both written and spoken, is essential. The successful applicant will demonstrate an independent, methodical work approach, analytical thinking, creativity, and the ability to work effectively within a team.
