# SENIOR BACKEND DEVELOPER ## About the Role BLENT is a data platform for the hospitality industry that aggregates data in real time from a wide range of sources and provides managers with reports, alerts, forecasts, and insights designed to improve performance and profitability. As a **Senior Backend Developer**, you will quickly learn and understand BLENT's application and architecture, then take ownership of critical parts of the platform. Your primary focus will be backend development, including **APIs, services, and data pipelines** that ingest, consolidate, and serve millions of data points from clients' systems every day.
