Job Description
We’re looking for a QA Engineer to join our Data & Analytics Platforms RUBIK engineering team.
We are searching for self-motivated candidates who demonstrate modern Agile and DevOps practices and can own the design and development of IT systems and applications, delivering global projects in multinational teams.
Responsibilities
Lead testing activities for applications throughout their entire lifecycle, from development and deployment to upgrade and replacement/terminationWrite test scenarios and automation code for Data & Analytics applications, and support end-to-end cloud-native solutions on AzurePerform frontend, backend, and data layer testing, covering React-based UI applications, Java-based backend services, and data validation across Databricks and SQL environmentsEnsure development and architecture adhere to established standards, including modern software engineering practices such as CI/CD, Agile, and DevOpsCollaborate with internal technical specialists and vendors to develop final products that improve overall performance, efficiency, and support new business processes
Job Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience5+ years of experience working as a Test Manager or Automated Test EngineerExperience with Selenium and performance testingHands-on experience working with Robot Framework and PythonAt least 2 years of hands-on experience with Databricks and SQL, including testing, validating, and analyzing data in Data & Analytics environmentsExperience developing test scenarios and strategies for business-critical applicationsProven understanding of Docker and CI/CD pipelinesStrong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skillsA strong desire to produce high-quality software through cross-functional teamwork, testing, code reviews, and standard engineering best practices
