Our challenge: We are seeking a talented Harness Engineer with strong expertise in Harness CI/CD, pipeline automation, deployment orchestration, quality gates, GitHub Actions, Docker, Kubernetes, and DevSecOps practices. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing enterprise-grade CI/CD pipelines, managing deployment approvals and secrets, integrating automated quality controls, and supporting compliance requirements through DCMS evidence hooks and audit-ready deployment tracking. Additional Information* The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Charlotte, NC is $100k - $110k/year & benefits (see below). The Role Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain scalable Harness CI/CD pipelines for enterprise applications. Create and manage reusable Harness templates, workflows, and deployment strategies. Implement automated build, test, and deployment processes across multiple environments. Configure and enforce automated quality gates to ensure code quality, security, and compliance requirements are met. Integrate GitHub Actions with Harness pipelines to support end-to-end software delivery. Build and manage containerized deployment solutions using Docker and Kubernetes. Configure deployment approvals, governance policies, and change management workflows. Manage secrets, credentials, and sensitive configuration using Harness Secret Manager or external vault solutions. Implement and maintain DCMS evidence hooks to capture deployment evidence, audit logs, approvals, and compliance artifacts. Monitor pipeline performance and optimize deployment reliability and efficiency. Troubleshoot CI/CD failures, deployment issues, and infrastructure-related challenges. Partner with Development, QA, DevOps, Security, and Release Management teams to improve software delivery processes.
