About The Role As a Data Engineer at Zonneplan, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the backbone of our data-driven initiatives. Your primary responsibility will be to build and enhance our central data platform, ensuring reliable, secure, and accessible data for various teams across the organization. You will develop robust data pipelines, implement data quality standards, and establish the technical foundation for our upcoming machine learning platform. Working closely with teams such as Engineering, Trading & Optimization, and GenAI, you will translate data requests into sustainable self-service solutions, enabling colleagues to work autonomously with data. Your work will directly impact the speed and quality of decision-making, contributing to our overarching goal of making sustainable energy more efficient and accessible. You will also be instrumental in integrating AI tools like Claude Code to automate workflows and foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
