Senior Full Stack Developer

Aequilibrium is a technology professional services company specializing in digital transformation, product development, and innovation. We are looking for an experienced Senior Full Stack Developer based in Canada to join the Aequilibrium team and support a large-scale digital initiative. This role requires a versatile developer who is comfortable working across both frontend applications and backend services and can quickly become productive within an established product environment. The successful candidate will work independently with minimal supervision while collaborating closely with an Agile delivery team. What You Will Be Doing Design, develop, and enhance frontend applications and backend servicesDevelop and integrate REST APIs and database-driven servicesBuild and maintain cloud-native application componentsContribute to event-driven services and scheduled/background processing workloadsDevelop automated unit and integration tests and maintain high standards of software qualityWork with CI/CD pipelines and containerized application deploymentsTroubleshoot application issues and provide deployment and production support as requiredCollaborate with developers, product stakeholders, and other members of an Agile delivery teamQuickly understand and contribute to an established application architecture and codebase Required Experience Strong professional experience as a Full Stack Developer, with demonstrated hands-on experience across both frontend and backend developmentStrong experience with TypeScript and modern frontend developmentExperience with a modern frontend framework such as ReactBackend development experience, preferably with Python or comparable server-side technologiesExperience designing, developing, and integrating REST APIsExperience with relational databases and database integrationsExperience developing cloud-native applicationsExperience with cloud platforms; GCP experience is preferred, although relevant AWS or Azure experience is transferableExperience with CI/CD pipelines and modern software delivery practicesExperience with containerized applications and deployments, such as Docker and/or KubernetesExperience with event-driven architectures/servicesExperience with scheduled or background processing workloadsStrong understanding of modern software engineering practices, including automated testing, source control, code reviews, and maintainable application designAbility to work independently, take ownership of assignments, and become productive quickly within an existing product environmentStrong communication and collaboration skills and experience working within Agile delivery teamsExperience working directly with clients and stakeholders in a professional services or consulting environment is an assetPrevious Canadian public-sector or government digital-services experience is an asset Education Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
