Senior .NET Engineer | FinTech | London Hybrid 1-2 days | £75-85K I’m working with a FinTech business in London that is looking for an experienced Senior .NET Engineer to join a technology team going through a significant modernisation programme, in terms of the technical platform, and the people building it. This company is building a 'new guard' of likeminded, ambitious technical people, and they are looking for Senior .NET Engineers to kick this off. You’ll be joining at an important stage as they modernise and migrate a number of core integration services, working hands-on across C#, .NET, APIs, microservices and event-driven architecture. This is a senior engineering role rather than a pure leadership position, but you’ll also have the opportunity to influence technical direction, engineering standards and mentor other developers within the team. 📍 London – Hybrid, 1-2 days per week 💷 £75,000-£85,000 + Bonus + Benefits 💼 Permanent role The core stack includes: 💻 C# / .NET / ASP.NET Core 🔗 REST APIs & Microservices ☁️ Azure - Service Bus / Kafka / Messaging ⚡ Event-Driven Architecture 🐳 Docker & Containerisation 🗄️ SQL Server 🔐 OAuth 2.0 / OpenID Connect / JWT 🔄 CI/CD & Git 🧪 Automated Testing Experience across Azure Functions, Logic Apps, API Management, Event Grid, Container Apps or Terraform would also be beneficial. They’re particularly interested in engineers who understand strong software engineering principles — SOLID, clean architecture, design patterns and maintainable distributed systems — rather than developers who have simply worked with the technologies.
