As part of the IT Risk Business Partner Area, you develop and operate technology solutions that support market risk, credit risk, analytics and modelling processes across EnBW's energy trading activities.Design, develop and maintain modern software solutions that enable transparent risk measurement, analysis and decision-making for energy trading portfolios across European power and commodity markets.Contribute to solution architecture, technology selection and the continuous evolution of Risk IT systems, ensuring they meet the growing demands of an increasingly automated and data-driven trading environment.Work closely with risk managers, quantitative analysts, traders and IT colleagues to translate business requirements into robust and practical software solutions.Drive process optimisation and efficiency initiatives through the use of AI, automation and modern software engineering practices.Support business-critical applications in daily operation, resolve complex issues and ensure high standards of quality, maintainability and reliability.
Überzeugendes Profil
Completed degree in Computer Science, Mathematics or a comparable quantitative discipline.Proven expertise in Python and a strong software engineering background covering areas such as backend development, cloud technologies, DevOps and modern software design.Knowledge of, or a strong interest in, risk management, quantitative analytics or software solutions supporting energy trading and commodity markets.Ability to structure complex topics, engage confidently with stakeholders across business and IT functions and deliver pragmatic solutions in a dynamic trading environment.Self-driven, adaptable and results-oriented approach, combined with strong communication skills in German and English and a willingness to continuously learn and embrace new technologies.

Our Trading unit is responsible for the optimal management of EnBW's portfolio, is active in the trading of renewable energies and thus supports the Energiewende.
We are also involved in future topics such as hydrogen or smart & digital in trading, as well as in new supply contracts and the management of renewable energies.
