About the Role Design and build backend services powering fintech and SaaS products for healthcare customersDevelop scalable APIs and database schemas for new product featuresBuild and maintain Node.js applications with a focus on performance, reliability, and securityInvestigate and resolve production issues in partnership with Customer SupportEstimate development effort and proactively communicate progress, risks, and blockersCollaborate closely with product managers, designers, and fellow engineers to deliver new functionalityContribute to architectural decisions and engineering best practices as the platform continues to scaleHelp shape a rapidly growing product roadmap while working in a high-performance, collaborative engineering culture Requirements 5+ years of professional JavaScript development experience5+ years developing backend applications with Node.js2+ years working with Express.js or similar backend frameworksExperience designing and building RESTful APIsStrong experience with PostgreSQL and relational database designSolid understanding of backend architecture and scalable system designExperience building applications in the fintech, payments, banking, lending, or marketplace space strongly preferredComfortable troubleshooting production issues and collaborating across technical and non-technical teamsSelf-starter who takes ownership, communicates effectively, and thrives in a fast-moving environment Compensation & Benefits Base salary: $160,000–$240,000, depending on experience and locationPerformance bonus opportunityEquity participationComprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage401(k) with employer matchHybrid work schedule (4 days in-office, 1 remote)
