Mid-Level Frontend Developer

Our client is looking for a Frontend Developer (Mid-level) to to help build, maintain and improve modern web applications and Single Page Applications (SPAs) that deliver high-quality user experiences. You will be joining their team of professionals in Larnaca, Cyprus and reporting to the Head of Frontend Development. About the role: You'll work closely with Product, Design, Backend and QA teams to deliver scalable, reliable frontend solutions, taking real ownership of the features you're assigned while contributing to technical improvements and the wider frontend development practice. You'll work with a good level of independence within established engineering standards, handling moderately complex frontend challenges and contributing to technical and architectural discussions, with guidance available on the most complex or business-critical work. What you'll do: Develop, maintain and improve modern web applications and SPAsBuild responsive, accessible and user-friendly interfaces using modern frontend technologiesTranslate UI/UX concepts into high-quality, maintainable codeIntegrate frontend applications with REST APIsWrite clean, structured and reusable code that follows established engineering standardsTake ownership of assigned frontend features and development tasksTroubleshoot, debug and optimise applications across browsers and devicesTake part in code reviews and give constructive feedbackContribute to frontend performance, quality and maintainability, and to technical and architectural discussionsCollaborate across Product, Design, Backend and QA within an Agile environment What we're looking for: Around 2–4+ years of professional experience in frontend or web development, or a related technical environmentDemonstrated experience developing and maintaining modern web applications and SPAsA Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field or equivalent relevant technical experience/qualificationsStrong knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5 and CSS3Good knowledge of TypeScriptGood knowledge of a modern JavaScript framework such as Vue.js, Angular or ReactSolid understanding of HTTP, REST APIs, browser rendering, caching and web performanceGood understanding of SPA architecture, responsive design, accessibility standards and cross-browser compatibilityKnowledge of CSS preprocessors such as Sass or LESSFamiliarity with modern build tools such as Vite, Webpack or similarGood knowledge of Git and version-control workflowsStrong analytical, problem-solving and debugging skills, with the ability to manage your own tasks and prioritiesProfessional proficiency in English and Greek Nice to have: Commercial experience with Vue.jsExperience with frontend testing frameworks such as Vitest, Jest, Cypress or similarFamiliarity with CI/CD pipelines and modern deployment practicesExperience optimising frontend performance and application scalabilityProficiency in any additional language What's on offer: Salary of €2,400 – €3,700 gross per month (€28,800 – €44,400 gross per year) based on experienceAnnual performance and salary reviewHybrid working (3 days in the office / 2 days remote) after 6 monthsMonday–Thursday: 08:30–17:15 (45-minute lunch break) and Friday: 08:30–17:00 (30-minute lunch break)Scaled annual leave scheme and birthday leaveComplimentary lunch every Tuesday and FridayContinuous learning and professional development, with support for technical training and certificationsStructured onboarding, plus ongoing mentoring from experienced team membersChallenging, intellectually stimulating projectsTeam-building activities and company eventsClear opportunities for career growth in a collaborative, supportive environment How to apply: Interested?
