Role Description This is a full-time Azure Administrator role based in Ljubljana, with a hybrid work arrangement that allows some work from home. The Azure Administrator is responsible for configuring, managing, and monitoring Microsoft Azure environments, including virtual machines, storage, networking, and security controls. Day-to-day tasks include implementing infrastructure changes, troubleshooting cloud and on-premises issues, maintaining system performance, and supporting backup, recovery, and monitoring solutions. The role involves collaborating with internal teams and clients to document solutions, optimize costs, ensure compliance with security and governance standards, and support cloud migration and modernization initiatives. The Azure Administrator also contributes to continuous improvement of infrastructure, operational processes, and security posture. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Cloud Administration skills, with hands-on experience in Microsoft Azure services, configuration, and monitoring.Candidates should possess solid System Administration and Infrastructure skills, including Windows Server, virtualization, backup, and performance tuning.Candidates should possess advanced Troubleshooting skills for cloud, network, and system issues in business-critical environments.Candidates should possess Network Security skills, including identity management, secure remote access, and implementation of security best practices.Relevant qualifications such as a degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience, are beneficial.Azure certifications (e.g., AZ-104 or related), knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Active Directory, and experience with documentation and governance are advantageous.Strong communication skills, ability to work both independently and in teams, and a structured, accountable approach to operational IT support are expected.
