Frontend UI Developer, React / TypeScript A leading global investment firm is looking for a Sr. Frontend UI Developer to join an engineering group supporting its Equities business. You do not need financial experience for this, just to be very creative & efficient. This is not a traditional frontend position. You’ll build sophisticated, highly interactive applications used by investment and engineering teams to understand performance, risk, positions and market information in real time. The engineering challenges sit at the intersection of complex financial data, distributed systems and modern UI development. Applications need to make enormous amounts of rapidly changing information intuitive, responsive and actionable. Comp: up to a $400k base with a guaranteed yearly bonus that'll take this to $600,000-850,000 in TC. They also offer sign on bonuses to over any RSUs, bonuses or equity you are leaving on the table. What they’re looking for: • Expert-level React and TypeScript experience • Strong JavaScript fundamentals and understanding of browser performance • Experience building complex, data-intensive web applications • Strong knowledge of state management, component architecture and frontend system design • Experience with visualization, charting, grids or other highly interactive UI tooling • Ability to work closely with sophisticated technical users and translate complex requirements into elegant interfaces • Strong computer science and software engineering fundamentals Applications will remain confidential.
