Description
We are opening a DevOps Engineer – PMT/DPO position to strengthen our client’s team based in Geneva.
The role sits within a DevOps environment supporting a highly regulated, safety-critical Air Traffic Management context.
The successful candidate will help engineering teams transition toward new processes, methods and tooling, while contributing to the operation and continuous improvement of the engineering toolchain.
Job Responsibilities
Support engineering and product teams in adopting new processes, methods and tools as part of the ongoing transformation.Deploy, configure, administer and continuously enhance the engineering toolchain, including documentation-as-code repositories, templates and automation workflows.Design, maintain and optimise CI/CD pipelines, quality gates, automated builds, packaging processes and release mechanisms.Adapt existing products and repositories to ensure development, verification, configuration and documentation practices align with the target framework.Administer SDLC and DevOps platforms covering source code management, CI/CD, artefact repositories, code quality, containers, logging and observability.Provide technical guidance and hands-on support to teams using the new toolchain and associated operating practices.Maintain appropriate security, access control, backup, traceability and data protection standards across managed platforms.Produce and maintain technical documentation, runbooks, configuration records and operational procedures.
Job Requirements
At least 5 years of professional experience in DevOps, platform engineering, systems engineering, infrastructure automation or a comparable technical position.Strong hands-on expertise in CI/CD, source code management, scripting, automation, containerisation and configuration or infrastructure-as-code practices.Proven experience administering SDLC and DevOps ecosystems, including repositories, CI/CD platforms, artefact management, code quality and observability solutions.Good understanding of the software development lifecycle, particularly requirements, development, verification, configuration management and release activities.Knowledge of Markdown-based documentation, automated document generation or traceability-focused tooling is an advantage.Previous exposure to regulated, safety-critical or quality-driven environments is appreciated.Strong understanding of security practices, access management, system hardening, backup and IT operational standards.Fluent English and French, combined with autonomy, rigour, a service-oriented mindset and strong collaboration skills.
