Build things that matter. As a Java developer, you'll be working closely with the Aikido team. Responsibilities Write modular, testable, and efficient code using Java (and other languages)Design and implement high-availability applicationsDiscover, plan, write, document and maintain new featuresUnderstand the fundamental design principles behind a scalable applicationUnderstand the nature of asynchronous programming and its quirks and workaroundsOptimize the product code for speed where required Job Requirements Really comfortable in a very entrepreneurial environmentCan think along with architectural and impactful decisionsWilling to learn new languages when the product requires itComfortable researching and tackling hard problems and algorithms (eg parsing with ASTs)Willing to experiment (and also willing to perhaps throw away some code)Medior to Senior:We are going fast and need experienced people that can hit the ground running with us.You need to be comfortable with the above mentioned languages and tech-stack.No stranger to implementing automated testing platforms and unit testsFluent in EnglishCandidates must be located in or able to work within CEST timezone.
