About The Role Razor Talent is seeking an experienced Web Developer to join our dynamic team supporting a longstanding customer. This role involves developing, enhancing, and maintaining web applications and websites that are integral to the client's operations. The successful candidate will work across both front-end and back-end technologies to deliver comprehensive technical solutions that meet client specifications and industry standards. This position requires a proactive individual capable of collaborating with cross-functional teams, gathering client requirements, and translating them into effective web-based solutions. The role offers an exciting opportunity to work on mission-critical projects in a fast-paced environment, utilizing the latest technologies to drive innovation and efficiency. Qualifications Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in web development, including building and maintaining websites and web applications.Proficiency in JavaScript and PHP, with a proven track record of writing, reviewing, and enhancing source code.Strong understanding of database systems, particularly MySQL.Experience working across both front-end and back-end development, including user interfaces, middleware, services, and APIs.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field; alternatively, 8+ years of relevant Web Development or Software Engineering experience in lieu of a degree.Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph is required. Preferred qualifications include experience with content management systems like Joomla, familiarity with AWS cloud services, and proficiency with project management tools such as Jira or Confluence. Knowledge of front-end technologies including HTML, CSS, responsive design, and accessibility standards is highly desirable. Candidates with a history of developing complex solutions, automating workflows, and collaborating effectively in team environments will stand out. Responsibilities Develop, enhance, and maintain websites and web applications to ensure optimal performance and security.Write clean, efficient, and well-documented source code for new applications and features.Review, generate, and improve existing codebases to enhance functionality and maintainability.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement user interfaces, middleware, services, and APIs.Work with database systems, primarily MySQL, to support application data needs.Identify opportunities for workflow automation and process optimization based on client requirements.Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment activities to ensure high-quality deliverables.Gather client requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and provide innovative solutions to complex challenges.Stay updated with industry best practices and emerging technologies to continuously improve web development processes.
