Position Summary The Web Developer, following the Strategic Association Solutions Best Practices, holds a critical role in administering, supporting, and developing websites for numerous clients. This role involves implementing custom plugins, modifying templates, and collaborating closely with project managers, designers, and developers to ensure the successful completion of assigned projects and tickets, adhering to industry best practices. SAS is a fully remote company; this position will be 100% remote. Essential Functions Provide Support for Existing Client Sites Troubleshoot problems and promptly address issues on existing client websites.Implement requested features, ensuring seamless functionality.Assist with the Build Out of New Client Websites Administer pre-built themes and customize them to meet client needs.Develop custom themes and plugins from scratch for unique client requirements.Manage Integrations between Websites and reMembers Oversee integrations between websites and Strategic Association Solutions’ Association Management Software, re:Members.Ensure smooth functionality and data synchronization between the two platforms.Ensure Compliance with Best Practices Follow Strategic Association Solutions Best Practices in all development activities.Stay updated on industry best practices and integrate them into daily workflows.Other duties that align with the mission and vision of the company as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree preferred.2–3 years of experience as a Web Developer.Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and PHP.Proficient in web development, including administration of plugins, settings, and layouts via the web dashboard front end.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to efficiently solve unique problems.Strong time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.Preferred Qualifications Experience with third-party web content editors such as Elementor and WP Bakery.Experience with other CMS platforms such as Kentico, Drupal, and DNN.Experience with JavaScript.Experience with Python and C#.Experience with RESTful APIs.Experience with issue and project tracking software like JIRA.
