Software Engineer

LungTeh's software development team play a critical role in helping the company undergo a digital transformation. We work closely with other departments to understand their work processes and design solutions the help our coworkers be more productive and effective. Our plan includes creating a Digital Twin which is the digital model that describes LTS ship’s geometry, material, components and production process. This will become a foundation for services that provides the information to enable optimal decision making and lays the ground work for automation. Responsibilities Understand customer and internal business requirementsDevelop applications that meet those needsCollaborate closely with customers, management and other departmentsDocument application for users and developersProvide user support for software and services Requirements Object Oriented Programming and scripting experienceBS or MS in computer science or equivalent experienceGood English reading and writing skillsAbility to quickly learn new technologies and toolsExperience with Python, MySQL/MariaDB, MSSQL and Linux is a plus
