What You'll Be Doing: WordPress Development Develop and maintain custom WordPress themes and pluginsBuild scalable, secure, and maintainable WordPress solutionsEnhance existing websites and create new functionality based on business needsParticipate in website modernization and CMS migration projectsPHP & Backend Development Build and maintain backend applications using object-oriented PHPDevelop solutions leveraging Symfony and related frameworksCreate reusable, scalable, and maintainable codeDesign and support REST APIs and third-party integrationsIntegrations & Authentication Develop integrations with internal and external systemsSupport Single Sign-On (SSO) and authentication initiativesIntegrate with CRM platforms, email systems, donation platforms, and other business applicationsAI-Assisted Development Leverage tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, and other AI platforms to improve efficiency and code qualityApply security, privacy, and quality controls to AI-assisted developmentIdentify opportunities for workflow automation and process improvementCollaboration & Quality Partner with developers, designers, project managers, and stakeholders to deliver solutionsParticipate in code reviews and contribute to development best practicesMaintain technical documentation and development processesTrack and communicate project progress using Jira, Confluence, and Microsoft TeamsRequired Qualifications: ✅ 5+ years of professional web development experience in WordPress development (custom themes, plugins, backend architecture)PHP developmentSymfony frameworkREST API development and integrationsGit version control and development best practicesHTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and responsive web design✅ Strong Experience with: Third-party integrations and business applicationsDevelopment, Test, and Production environmentsWorking independently and contributing with minimal onboarding✅ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, related field, or equivalent professional experience Preferred Qualifications: ⭐ AWS or other cloud platform experience ⭐ CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices ⭐ GitHub Actions and automated deployment workflows ⭐ Docker, Vagrant, Chef, Python, or related infrastructure tools ⭐ Experience with Vue.js or other modern JavaScript frameworks ⭐ Database design, backup, and recovery knowledge ⭐ Familiarity with Laravel, Doctrine, Java, or Django Why Apply?
