Senior AI Frontend Engineer

Sytac is looking for a Senior AI / Front-End Engineer to join our team on an exciting project for the fintech domain, building the next generation of their AI-driven public web experience. We are looking for an engineer with modern engineering skills, passionate about innovation, creativity, attention to detail, and strong communication skills. The team You would be part of a multi-disciplinary team responsible for launching a brand-new, high-impact AI web experimentation squad. Our focus is on generating, testing, and optimizing dynamic web features for our client's public domain—initially across the Netherlands and Belgium, with plans to expand across Europe. Working alongside business and AI specialists, our aim is to leverage generative AI and an internal Agentic DevOps platform to deliver high-performing, brand-aligned web components using the latest tech stack globally. Roles and responsibilities Technical & Operational Execution AI & Web Development: Lead end-to-end development of AI-generated web features using TypeScript, Modern JavaScript, and Web Components (Lit/Shadow DOM) or React/Next.js. Ensure generated components strictly adhere to corporate design systems via structured outputs (Zod, JSON Schema, Function Calling) to prevent generic output and maintain enterprise standards.Experimentation & Delivery: Drive experimentation excellence by designing, launching, and tracking A/B tests using tools like LaunchDarkly, Optimizely, or Adobe Target to validate feature conversion and performance before scaling winning solutions globally.DevOps Integration: Leverage advanced internal Agentic DevOps platforms alongside tools like Azure DevOps, Git, Node.js, and Vite to automate coding workflows, agentic integrations, and dynamic component deployments. Collaboration & Leadership Mentorship & Mastery: Support fellow squad members through technical guidance, code reviews (Vitest, Playwright), and knowledge sharing to help build a well-rounded engineering team.Cross-Functional Alignment: Collaborate closely with international architects, business stakeholders, and UX teams to roll out core AI experiments and contribute to a realistic product roadmap.Knowledge Sharing: Transfer expertise in AI tools (Vercel AI SDK, OpenAI/Anthropic APIs, LangChain) and modern web architecture to Sytac and the client through presentations, documentation, and setting high engineering standards in an Agile environment. How to succeed Core Technical Stack: Solid engineering background in Front-End or Full-Stack development using TypeScript, Modern JavaScript, Web Components (Lit), React/Next.js, and CSS Modules/Tailwind CSS.AI & Agentic Expertise: Hands-on experience with LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic), Vercel AI SDK, orchestration frameworks (LangChain, LlamaIndex, AutoGen), and strict output enforcement via function calling/Zod schemas.Experimentation & Quality: Strong knowledge of A/B testing platforms (LaunchDarkly, Optimizely), automated testing frameworks (Vitest, Jest, Playwright), accessibility, and web performance optimization.Collaboration & Impact: A curious, Agile-minded team player with excellent communication skills who thrives on explaining complex AI concepts and collaborating with global stakeholders.Location & Eligibility: Currently based in the Netherlands with valid right-to-work documentation (no relocation or visa sponsorship provided).
