Your Mission
Working at Gen H means embracing new challenges – we’re building a mortgage lender from scratch, and you’ll work with others around the business to design new features and products, solve problems, and deliver great outcomes for our customers.
As a software engineer, you’ll get to own the features you build from start to finish, and will be proactive about iterating on them as the business changes over time.
Our fantastic operations teams use our in-house tools to help our customers and mortgage brokers have the best experience of Gen H.
In addition to building new features, you'll play a critical role in improving these tools to support our teams as they provide a high level of service for our customers.
What you'll bring us
You’ve recently started your software engineering career, and have at least 2 years of experience building full-stack web applicationsFamiliarity with Ruby, TypeScript and React preferred, but we like people who are willing to learn new things on the goExperience with Postgres or another relational databaseYou’ve done some informal domain modelling to help turn ideas into working systemsGoogle Cloud Platform, Kubernetes and Python are nice to have, but not essential
