Job Description Design, deploy, and manage containerised workloads and Kubernetes environments within Google Cloud/AWS.Build and enhance cloud platform capabilities using Infrastructure as Code and GitOps methodologies.Support and optimise enterprise CI/CD tooling to ensure reliable software delivery across multiple teams.Develop reusable deployment templates and automation frameworks for application builds, testing, security checks, and releases.Enable application teams through onboarding support, technical guidance, and platform best practices.Integrate deployment pipelines with Infrastructure as Code and GitOps tools to achieve consistent and auditable releases.Embed security, governance, and compliance controls into delivery processes and cloud platforms.Partner with security and DevSecOps teams to implement automated vulnerability management and security scanning.Monitor platform performance, availability, and operational health while leading root cause investigations and issue resolution.Establish engineering standards through reviews, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives.Implement policy-driven governance and platform guardrails to maintain consistency and compliance.Collaborate with internal stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable platform solutions.Produce clear operational documentation, release communications, and technical guidance materials.Stay informed on emerging cloud, platform engineering, and DevOps practices to drive innovation. The Successful Applicant At least three years of experience in cloud engineering with strong exposure to Kubernetes and Google Cloud Platform/AWS.Hands-on experience supporting or administering enterprise CI/CD platforms, ideally within large-scale environments.Strong knowledge of containerisation, microservices, distributed systems, and modern application architectures.Experience implementing GitOps practices, Infrastructure as Code, and automated deployment pipelines.Understanding of DevSecOps principles, security controls, vulnerability management, and compliance requirements.Familiarity with tools such as Terraform, ArgoCD, Flux, Dynatrace, Prometheus, OPA, and container security platforms.Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Strong analytical and troubleshooting capabilities with a proactive approach to problem-solving.Ability to thrive in complex, fast-paced, and evolving technology environments.
