Key Responsibilities Infrastructure Development: Develop and deploy scalable and secure infrastructure solutions using Kubernetes in various environments, including bare-metal and air-gapped setups GitOps Implementation: Implement GitOps practices to manage infrastructure and platform configurations efficiently CI/CD Pipeline Design: Design and implement robust CI/CD pipelines to automate the build, test, and deployment processes for diverse applications and environments Environment Promotion: Establish best practices for environment promotion for release artifacts and ensure adherence to security standards Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with agile and cross-functional teams, including product management, development, operations, and software architects, to ensure seamless integration and deployment of solutions Best Practices Advocacy: Advocate for and implement best practices in DevOps, automated testing, and infrastructure management Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of DevOps processes and workflows to ensure clarity and consistency Technology Trends: Stay current with the latest technology trends and advancements in DevOps, cloud computing, and automated testing Knowledge Sharing: Share insights and knowledge with the team and stakeholders to foster innovation and drive continuous improvement in the software development lifecycle Profil Educational Background: Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field Experience: At least 3 years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on DevOps practices, tools (e.g., FluxCD, ArgoCD, Puppet, Chef, Ansible, HELM) and automated testing Microservices and Container Orchestration: Extensive experience with microservices architecture and container orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker and Kubernetes) Operating Systems: good knowledge of Linux/Unix operating systems; ability to write and use shell scripts to automate recurring tasks; knowledge in monitoring and optimizing system performance CI/CD and Automation: Proven track record of implementing and managing CI/CD pipelines, automated testing frameworks, and infrastructure management tools, knowledge in version control with Git and handling branching strategies Monitoring and Logging: Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack; ability to diagnose and resolve issues in Kubernetes clusters Security: Knowledge in Kubernetes security practices, understanding of Kubernetes Secrets and ConfigMaps for secure management of sensitive information Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (C1) (German Level C1) Teamwork and Collaboration: Strong teamwork mentality, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders Industry Knowledge: Demonstrated ability to stay up to date with industry trends and technologies and apply them to improve development and deployment processes Agile Software Development: Experience in agile software development methodologies Programming Skills: Proficiency in at least one higher level programming language (e.g. C#.Net, GoLang, Python) for software development tasks Wir bieten Important note Please be advised that a valid work permit for Germany is required for non-EU citizens.
