As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining a cutting edge automated infrastructure and deployment pipelines.
You will leverage your expertise to enhance scalability, reliability, and efficiency across our software development lifecycle, contributing directly to the delivery of cutting-edge medical technology solutions.
Responsibilities
Design, implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines supporting multiple .NET, Angular and database applications using GitHub Actions.Automate build, test, security scanning and deployment processes to improve engineering productivity and software quality.Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code solutions using Terraform and Packer.Manage and improve our engineering platform, including GitHub runners, SonarQube, Snyk and Artifactory.Design and maintain automated deployment pipelines for integrated application environments used by dev and test teamsMaintain automated test infrastructure used for Playwright and Ranorex test execution, including nightly and on-demand test runs.Collaborate closely with software engineers and testers to improve development workflows, build quality and delivery efficiency.Support administration and continuous improvement of Azure-hosted development and test environments.Mentor junior engineers and help establish DevOps standards and best practices.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.4+ years of experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, Build Engineering or a software development environment.Strong experience with CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins or similar platforms.Experience automating software delivery processes for complex application landscapes.Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and HashiCorp Packer.Strong scripting and automation skills using PowerShell and Python.Experience supporting Windows Server and Windows-based application environments.Experience with tools such as SonarQube, Snyk, ArtifactoryUnderstanding of software development processes and experience working closely with development and QA teams.Strong communication skills and ability to coach and mentor colleagues.Fluent English language skills.Experience with automated testing infrastructure and tools such as Playwright or Ranorex would be an advantage.Experience with Azure administration, virtual machines, backup strategies and resource management.Experience with Linux and container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.Experience supporting MSSQL Server deployment and automation activities.Ideally some Azure certifications or working towards them.Ideally speak German
