This programme is designed to help you build your backend development skills through hands-on experience. It is ideal for students, recent graduates, career changers, and self-taught developers who are ready to learn and grow. What you’ll do As a Backend Developer Trainee, you’ll support the development and maintenance of real web applications while learning professional backend engineering practices. Your responsibilities will include: Developing and maintaining backend features using PHP Building and managing databases to support web applications Writing clean, efficient, and maintainable server-side code Supporting application testing, debugging, and deployment activities Collaborating with frontend developers, designers, and project managers Learning modern backend development workflows, version control, and best practices Who this is for This opportunity is a good fit if you: Have a basic understanding of PHP and relational databases such as MySQL Have some familiarity with HTML and CSS Enjoy solving technical problems and building software Are eager to learn backend development through real projects Can commit at least 6 hours per week Programme Benefits You’ll gain practical experience building and supporting real backend systems while learning how professional development teams operate.
