About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Principal DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic development team.
In this role, you will be at the forefront of our online game infrastructure, responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable, reliable, and high-performance systems.
You will lead key DevOps projects, guide technical decision-making, and optimize our deployment pipelines and cloud infrastructure.
Collaborating closely with game developers, community managers, and product teams, you will ensure our systems support the company's growth and innovation strategies.
Your expertise will help shape the future of our gaming platforms, transitioning to new technologies such as Unity-based frontends and expanding our backend capabilities.
Qualifications
Extensive experience in IT maintenance, system administration, and network architecture, especially with Debian and Linux environmentsProven expertise in high-load, high-availability systems and performance optimizationHands-on experience with cloud platforms, preferably Google Cloud, and associated management tools like Terraform and KubernetesStrong knowledge of modern build systems, tech stacks, and toolchainsProficiency in Java or other high-level programming languagesExperience in developing, shipping, and maintaining at least one commercial game or digital productAbility to articulate technical designs clearly and document processes effectivelyFluent in English, both verbal and written
