The business continues to invest heavily in its technology platforms and is seeking an experienced Senior .NET Developer to join their core technology team and contribute to a range of business-critical projects. Company Overview: Location: Sydney Working Arrangement: Onsite / Flexible arrangements available Industry: Manufacturing, Distribution & Supply Chain Environment: Established enterprise applications, ERP platforms, business-critical systems Role Purpose: This is a hands-on development role responsible for designing, developing, enhancing, and supporting internal business applications across the organisation. You'll work closely with business stakeholders, support teams, and technology colleagues to gather requirements, develop solutions, improve system performance, and maintain critical operational platforms. The position will also play a key role in modernising legacy applications and supporting the continued evolution of the broader technology landscape. The role offers exposure across application development, ERP integrations, reporting solutions, database development, and system optimisation, making it well suited to someone who enjoys a varied technical environment and end-to-end ownership. Technical Environment / Desired Experience: Strong commercial experience with .NET development (WinForms and/or Web applications)Strong SQL Server expertise, including SQL scripting, query optimisation, stored procedures, and database performance tuningExperience gathering requirements, preparing technical designs, and delivering end-to-end software solutionsExperience supporting and enhancing enterprise business applicationsExposure to ERP platforms and business-critical operational systemsExperience modernising or migrating legacy applications (VB6 and/or VB.NET experience highly regarded)Experience developing reports using tools such as Crystal Reports or similar reporting platformsExperience building data import/export solutions and integrations with external systemsStrong troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and production support experienceExposure to modern JavaScript frameworks such as React would be advantageousStrong focus on code quality, documentation, maintainability, and continuous improvementThis opportunity would suit an experienced developer looking for a long-term role within a growing organisation where they can contribute to both ongoing development and system modernisation initiatives while working closely with the wider business.
