About The Role We are seeking a talented Java Developer (m/w/d) to join our team, with options to work from Konstanz, Berlin, or remotely. In this role, you will contribute to projects that leverage innovative technology to address socially relevant topics and drive digitalization in Germany. You will work within a self-organized, agile team, taking responsibility for designing, developing, and maintaining software solutions that meet our clients' needs. Your work will involve engaging deeply with technical challenges, creating high-quality code, and integrating emerging technologies such as AI tools and containerization in a DevOps environment. The ideal candidate is passionate about software engineering, eager to learn, and motivated to make a positive societal impact through technology. Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess a relevant university degree or comparable qualification in computer science or related fields. You should have solid experience in application development using Java, with familiarity in frameworks such as Spring Boot and tools like Jenkins and GIT. Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Kubernetes, Docker, or Podman, especially within cloud environments, is advantageous. A basic understanding of containerization principles and an interest in DevOps practices are essential. Additionally, you should be interested in integrating AI tools into development workflows and possess the ability to evaluate their application critically. Strong motivation for agile working, continuous learning, and staying abreast of technological trends is expected. Excellent German language skills (minimum C1 level) are required to effectively collaborate within our team and with clients.
