As a Staff Software Engineer, you'll join one of our core engineering squads responsible for merchant onboarding or payment processing capabilities.
You'll help design and build products that power the end-to-end eCommerce journey for some of Australia's largest businesses while influencing technical direction across a growing engineering organisation.

You'll join the Payments & Acceptance domain, a growing engineering organisation of more than 60 engineers responsible for critical eCommerce capabilities including:

Lead the design and delivery of scalable, resilient and secure software solutions across our eCommerce payments platformBuild and evolve Java-based microservices supporting merchant onboarding, payment processing and settlement capabilitiesContribute across the technology stack, from backend services and APIs through to cloud infrastructure and customer experiencesDrive architectural decisions and influence engineering direction across squadsChampion engineering excellence through automated testing, CI/CD, observability and DevSecOps practicesPartner with product, architecture and business stakeholders to deliver meaningful customer outcomesMentor engineers and uplift technical capability across the teamSupport production systems and continuously improve reliability, performance and operational excellence
