About The Role We are seeking a talented and motivated Fullstack Web Developer specializing in PHP and WordPress to join our team in Viersen. As part of our team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining engaging websites, ensuring optimal performance, and delivering high-quality digital experiences for our clients. You will work on both frontend and backend tasks, utilizing modern technologies such as Symfony, React, and Vue, alongside traditional WordPress development. The role involves translating creative designs into functional websites, performing quality assurance, and collaborating closely with colleagues and clients to meet project goals. Your contributions will directly impact the digital presence of various brands, making this a rewarding position for someone passionate about web development. Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess relevant experience in web development, with a focus on PHP and WordPress. Strong coding skills, a passion for clean and efficient code, and a good understanding of modern frontend and backend technologies are essential. Proficiency in HTML, SCSS, JavaScript, and PHP is required, along with familiarity with tools such as Docker and Git. Knowledge of frameworks like Bootstrap, Symfony, and templating engines like Twig will be advantageous. Experience with React or Vue.js is a plus, as is familiarity with e-commerce platforms such as Shopware, Shopify, Magento, or Gambio. The candidate should demonstrate a self-driven, structured approach to work, with excellent communication skills in German and English. Prior experience working on medium to large projects (over 500 hours) and managing client relationships is preferred. Responsibilities Develop and maintain websites using PHP, WordPress, and modern frontend technologies, ensuring functionality and visual appeal.Implement and customize WordPress themes and plugins, translating design mockups into responsive websites.Utilize Symfony and relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL for project development and enhancement.Conduct technical and visual quality assurance to ensure websites meet high standards.Optimize websites for performance, speed, and SEO, supporting the marketing and SEO teams.Collaborate with team members on medium to large-scale projects, contributing to all phases of development lifecycle.Maintain existing client websites, providing ongoing support and implementing updates as needed.Engage in continuous learning and apply new technologies to improve project quality and efficiency.
