About The Role We are seeking a skilled and passionate DevOps Engineer (m/w/d) to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be instrumental in the ongoing development and enhancement of our Kubernetes-based hosting platform. You will work closely with other DevOps professionals to design, implement, and maintain scalable, stable, and high-performance infrastructure solutions. Your responsibilities will include automating deployment processes, monitoring system health, and exploring innovative approaches to optimize our platform. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work at the forefront of hosting technology, contributing to a platform that supports some of the most innovative web projects in Germany and beyond. Qualifications The ideal candidate will have a strong background in system administration, cloud infrastructure, and automation. You should possess hands-on experience with Linux operating systems, containerization, and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes. Familiarity with programming in Go or similar languages is highly desirable. A proactive mindset, curiosity for new technologies, and problem-solving skills are essential. You should be comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or Opsgenie will be considered a plus. Formal education in computer science, information technology, or related fields is preferred but not mandatory if complemented by practical experience. Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain the system environment for our web hosting products, ensuring optimal performance and stability.Enhance our Kubernetes-based hosting platform, focusing on scalability, reliability, and performance improvements.Work on innovative use cases such as developing Kubernetes operators and deploying Bare Metal solutions.Monitor Kubernetes clusters using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and Opsgenie to prevent disruptions and ensure system health.Develop automation scripts and processes to streamline operations, improve quality, and reduce manual interventions.Stay updated with the latest open-source developments and experiment with new technologies to continuously improve our platform.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement best practices and innovative solutions.
