Full Stack Developer (Java, Spring Boot, Azure) Multiple Opportunities | Extension options SRA is seeking multiple experienced Full Stack Developers to join a long-term application sustainment and modernisation program. These roles will support the enhancement, remediation and migration of business-critical applications across both legacy and contemporary technology environments. You'll work across Java and Perl-based applications, helping to improve maintainability, security, supportability and cloud readiness while contributing to ongoing development and operational support activities. This is an excellent opportunity for developers who enjoy working across the full software development lifecycle and are comfortable navigating both modern and legacy technology stacks. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, enhance and support full-stack applicationsAnalyse and modernise existing application code and integrationsDevelop and support Java, Spring Boot and Perl-based solutionsSupport application migration and uplift initiatives within Azure environmentsBuild and maintain APIs, user interfaces, database integrations and deployment artefactsParticipate in testing, troubleshooting, defect remediation and production supportPrepare technical documentation and support knowledge transfer activitiesCollaborate with technical and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality outcomes Essential Requirements Ability to obtain and maintain a Baseline Security ClearanceAbility to obtain a National Police Check prior to commencementDemonstrated experience developing enterprise applications using JavaExperience with Spring Boot and REST API developmentExperience working across front-end, back-end and database layersExperience supporting, enhancing and maintaining production applicationsStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Highly Regarded Experience with PerlExperience with Apache StrutsExperience with Azure App Services, container platforms or Azure-hosted applicationsExperience with Azure DevOps, GitHub and CI/CD pipelinesExperience modernising or migrating legacy applicationsExperience working within large enterprise or government environments Flexible working arrangements available.
