SR. SYSTEM ENGINEER (CORPORATE SOLUTION - MIMS SUPPORT)

Qualification Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering or a related Engineering/Business field.Trained and preferably certified as PMP. Technical Skills Strong Knowledge and experience of software procurement procedures, requirements/systems analysis, tendering procedures, vendor's negotiation, Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and Information Security requirements.High level design document. Management & Leadership Skills Excellent people management, problem solving, persuasion, negotiation, and decision-making skills and team player with good written and verbal communication skills.Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Experience Minimum 9 years of progressive and directly related experience. Primary Duties And Responsibilities Project Management Manage the entire project life cycle, ensuring smooth execution and timely delivery of projects.Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to changing priorities.Proficiency in project management tools and software. Procurement & Vendor Management Possess a deep understanding of procurement processes, enabling effective management of vendor and facilitating the acquisition of necessary resources.Conduct comprehensive technical and commercial evaluations of bids received, allowing for informed decision-making during the selection process. Requirements Analysis & Solution Delivery Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates user requirements, and prepares feasibility/business case reports and technical requirements documents to make sure that IT projects are delivered according to QatarEnergy business needs and approved budget.Identify user requirements, create scope of work, draft functional requirements, Design, implement, and deploy IT business solutions.Implementing diverse corporate solutions to meet specific business need. Risk Management identifying and managing risks associated with a project. This includes the ability to develop risk mitigation strategies. Stakeholder Management Ensure effective communication with stakeholders, keeping them informed of project progress and any changes. Technical Expertise Strong technical knowledge and understanding of IT concepts and technologies. Methodology & Delivery Applying Agile methodology to enhance project flexibility and responsiveness to evolving requirements. Team Leadership Lead and manage cross-functional teams of technical and non-technical staff.
