Senior Java Developer | FIX, Trading Platforms & AWS | Hong Kong I’m working with an well established fintech that connects private banks and wealth managers with structured-product issuers. Its cloud-based platform enables institutional clients to price products, place orders, and manage transactions electronically. This is an excellent opportunity for engineers from private banks, fintech firms, asset managers, hedge funds, or other buy-side environments to take greater ownership of a modern trading platform. Experience within private banking, wealth management, fintech, investment management, trading, or other buy-side technology environments would be highly relevant! What You’ll Be Doing Build Java services for a cloud-based trading platform.Develop FIX connectivity, REST APIs and event-driven microservices.Deliver new features with product and business teams.Own solutions from design through production.Improve testing, CI/CD and platform reliability. What We’re Looking For 5+ years of hands-on Java and Spring experience.Experience with FIX and electronic trading workflows.Strong knowledge of microservices, event-driven architecture and REST APIs.Experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ or similar technologies.Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, Git, Jenkins and CI/CD.Strong problem-solving, communication and ownership skills.
