Senior .NET Developer – EY GDS Spain – Hybrid The opportunity As a Senior .NET Developer at EY Global Delivery Services (GDS) Spain, you will play a key role in designing and building modern, large-scale web applications and SaaS solutions for global clients. You will collaborate with internationally distributed Agile teams, leverage cutting-edge Microsoft technologies, and contribute to innovation through R&D, prototyping, and continuous improvement initiatives. Your key responsibilities As a Senior .NET Developer, you will be responsible for the full software development lifecycle, from design to delivery and maintenance, in a fast-paced Agile environment. You will work closely with global stakeholders and customers to ensure high-quality, scalable, and secure solutions. Design and implement new features and enhancements for existing applicationsLead research and development activities for new libraries, components, and technologiesRapidly prototype new functionalities and applicationsReview code, ensure best practices, and mentor junior team membersIdentify, analyze, and fix bugs to ensure application stability and performanceCommunicate effectively within globally distributed Agile teamsHandle technical queries from customers and business usersMaintain high development standards and continuously strive for better code qualityActively participate in Agile ceremonies such as daily scrums, sprint planning, grooming sessions, demos, and team activities Skills and attributes for success Strong experience working in Agile and fast-paced development environmentsExcellent problem-solving skills with strong attention to detailStrong communication skills, both verbal and written, in EnglishAbility to collaborate effectively in distributed and multicultural teamsHigh sense of ownership, quality-oriented mindset, and continuous improvement attitude To qualify for the role, you must have Minimum 4–5 years of hands-on experience in software development.Degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experienceProven experience developing large-scale web applications and SaaS solutionsStrong experience with Microsoft web technologies: C#, .NET Core Ideally, you’ll also have Expert-level experience in at least one modern frontend framework: Angular or ReactExpert-level knowledge of TypeScript for web application developmentSolid experience with relational databases: MS SQL / SQL Azure, EF 6, EF CoreExperience with non-relational databases such as MongoDBFamiliarity with Azure services: Key Vault, Azure Storage, Queues, Blob StorageExperience in unit testing frameworks: NUnit, Moq, JestExperience using distributed version control systems such as Git or SVNExperience with collaboration and project tracking tools like Azure DevOps, Jira, or AsanaCloud-based application development experience on Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google CloudBusiness analytics knowledge (a strong plus): Power BI, Azure Analysis Services, Tableau, Anaplan Nice to have Experience with responsive web designGood understanding of HTML5, CSS, and SCSSExperience integrating REST APIs and working with JSONExperience using and integrating Microsoft Power BI What we look for We are looking for proactive, quality-driven professionals who enjoy solving complex technical challenges and sharing knowledge within the team.
