Security DevOps Engineer

We are looking for a Security DevOps Engineer to design and run secure development and deployment environments for our R&D projects. You will embed security into CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure, and the software supply chain across cloud, on-premises, and lab environments. Key Responsibilities Design, implement, and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines and development environmentsIntegrate automated security controls into build, test, release, and deployment workflowsImplement infrastructure-as-code and secure, repeatable deployment patternsManage secrets, certificates, credentials, and access controls across environmentsIntegrate vulnerability scanning, container scanning, and related security toolingSupport software supply-chain security, SBOM generation, and provenance controlsHarden operating systems, containers, orchestration platforms, and cloud servicesPrepare technical sections for R&D deliverables and security documentation Methods & Approaches DevSecOps and secure software development lifecycle practicesInfrastructure as code and policy-as-code approachesContinuous vulnerability management and automated security testingSecure software supply-chain and artefact-management practices Deliverables Secure and automated development, test, and deployment pipelinesInfrastructure-as-code, hardening baselines, and operational documentationAutomated security checks, vulnerability reports, and SBOMsContributions to R&D project deliverables and integration reports Skills & Experience Background in DevOps, platform engineering, cloud engineering, or cybersecurity engineeringHands-on experience with CI/CD platforms, containers, orchestration, and infrastructure-as-codeExperience integrating security tooling such as SAST, DAST, SCA, or vulnerability managementUnderstanding of Linux, networking, identity and access management, and system hardeningExperience with cloud, hybrid, on-premises, or isolated development environments Relevant cloud, DevOps, Kubernetes, or security certifications are a plusWillingness to complete a government security clearance process Why Nortal? Salary range: €4600-6500 gross/monthly (full-time). Final compensation will depend on factors such as relevant experience, role seniority, and skill set.
