Software Engineer

Role: Web Developer C# Salary: up to £60,000 (doe) Location 2 days a week in South Essex An opportunity has opened up for a creative, detail-oriented Web Developer to join a growing and forward-thinking InsurTech business. This role offers the chance to work across the full stack, building and enhancing web-based products as part of an ambitious and evolving digital roadmap. What you’ll be doing: Designing, developing, and maintaining web applications from the ground upWriting clean, efficient, and scalable code using best practicesCollaborating with designers, developers, and business stakeholdersBuilding and integrating REST APIsImproving and enhancing existing platformsCore skills required: C#, ASP.NET / ASP.NET Core, MVCJavaScript, HTML, CSS, JSON, BootstrapExperience with debugging, testing, and deploying web applicationsUnderstanding of web security principles (e.g., OWASP) About you: Ideally, 3+ years’ experience in web developmentStrong problem-solving and analytical skillsAble to work independently and as part of a teamProactive, detail-oriented, and confident in communicating with stakeholders Please only apply if you are happy and able to work 2 days a week onsite in the South Essex area.
