Our challenge:
We are seeking a skilled Java Developer with Node.js and TypeScript to join our engineering team.
The ideal candidate will have strong backend development experience, with expertise in Node.js, TypeScript, MongoDB, real-time data processing, authentication, messaging systems, and enterprise application integration.
The Role
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable backend applications using Node.js and TypeScript.Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services.Design and optimize NoSQL data models using MongoDB.Work with Mongoose ORM for schema definition, data access, validation, and database operations.Implement authentication and authorization mechanisms, including entitlement and access management.Apply encryption techniques and security best practices to protect sensitive data.Develop and support real-time applications using WebSocket protocols.Process and manage real-time data efficiently.Implement file system operations, including file uploads, downloads, storage, and retrieval.Integrate SMTP-based email functionality using NodeMailer.Design and implement enterprise messaging solutions using platforms such as RabbitMQ and Kafka.Work with publish/subscribe architectures and event-driven systems.Analyze and optimize system I/O operations and application performance.Troubleshoot technical issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.Collaborate with architects, developers, QA engineers, business analysts, and other stakeholders.Participate in code reviews and contribute to coding standards and best practices.Create and maintain technical documentation.Ensure developed solutions meet quality, security, scalability, and performance requirements.Support production deployments, monitoring, and issue resolution as required.
Requirements:
You are:
Strong proficiency in Node.js and TypeScript.Hands-on experience with MongoDB and Mongoose ORM.Solid understanding of NoSQL database design, data modeling, indexing, and optimization.Experience implementing authentication mechanisms and entitlement management.Knowledge of encryption techniques and application security best practices.Practical knowledge of WebSocket protocols and real-time data processing.Familiarity with file system operations and handling file uploads and downloads.Experience integrating SMTP email services using NodeMailer.Practical experience with enterprise message brokers such as RabbitMQ or Kafka.Understanding of publish/subscribe architectures and event-driven systems.Understanding of system I/O operations and backend performance optimization.Exposure to Java is a strong advantage.Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.Ability to work independently and effectively within a team environment.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Experience in designing scalable and highly available backend systems.Knowledge of microservices architecture.Familiarity with API security standards such as OAuth 2.0 and JWT.Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.Understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.Experience with logging, monitoring, and performance profiling tools.Exposure to automated testing frameworks and test-driven development.Experience working in financial services, banking, or other regulated industries.
