About the Role: We're seeking a talented and detail-oriented Front-End Developer to join our ambitious and collaborative team. This role sits at the intersection of development, design and motion. You're a developer with a designer's eye—someone who cares as much about how an interface feels as how it functions. You bring digital experiences to life through thoughtful interaction, polished animation and high-quality front-end execution. You'll be comfortable owning builds from design handoff through launch across a range of digital projects, with a particular emphasis on front-end development, animation, and custom WordPress and React/Next.js experiences. You will work closely with art directors, designers, writers, project managers, and fellow developers to deliver thoughtful, effective work for our clients. What You’ll Do: Front-End Development Build responsive websites and digital experiences that translate Figma designs into polished, production-ready builds.Develop custom WordPress themes and templates, working within modern WordPress workflows.Build and maintain projects using React and Next.js.Write clean, maintainable, well-structured code.Collaborate with designers to ensure seamless translation of design systems into code. Animation & Motion Create engaging, performant animations and interactions using CSS and GSAP.Bring motion concepts, scroll-based experiences, and micro-interactions to life in ways that enhance rather than distract from the user experience.Prototype and iterate on animation ideas in collaboration with the creative team.Build animated HTML banner ads for digital advertising campaigns, working within ad platform specs and file size constraints. Quality, Performance & Collaboration Ensure cross-browser and cross-device compatibility across all builds.Participate in design reviews, code reviews, and QA throughout development.Communicate proactively across teams, flagging risks, blockers, and technical considerations early.Manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.Challenge briefs, proposed solutions, and designs, when a stronger approach could produce a better outcome for the client or audience.Our work often operates in complex and highly regulated environments, so attention to detail, disciplined QA and the ability to execute accurately against approved designs and requirements are essential. What You’ll Bring: 3+ years of experience in front-end development.A strong portfolio or code samples demonstrating polished, production-quality front-end work with thoughtful animation and interaction.Advanced proficiency in HTML, CSS/SCSS, and modern JavaScript.Experience creating sophisticated web animation using CSS and a JavaScript animation library such as GSAP.Experience with PHPExperience with React and Next.js.Experience with Node.js.Experience building accessible websites.Experience with Docker and GitHub-based workflows.A sharp design eye, with strong instincts for typography, spacing, layout, and visual detail, and the ability to catch and correct inconsistencies between design and build.Comfort working from Figma files and collaborating closely with designers.Strong written and verbal communication skills.A proactive, solutions-oriented approach to ambiguity, feedback, and changing project requirements.The ability to learn and adapt to new frameworks and technologies. Nice to Have: Familiarity with WCAG guidelines.Knowledge of web performance optimization and page speed best practices.Understanding of technical SEO best practices and how development decisions impact search performance.Experience with AWS.
