Full Stack Software Engineer – Collaboration Platform

Overview The Confluence Whiteboards team builds the real-time visual collaboration canvas for Atlassian Cloud. We empower teams to brainstorm, diagram, plan, and seamlessly turn unstructured visual ideas into actionable Jira work items and Confluence content. As a P40 Full Stack Software Engineer on Whiteboards, you will design, build, and maintain features across our client and backend services. You'll work on core canvas capabilities, real-time multiplayer performance, and deep product integrations across the Atlassian suite to help teams collaborate visually at scale. Responsibilities Build, ship, and maintain reliable, high-performance features across the full stack for Confluence Whiteboards.Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Designers, and fellow engineers to turn user needs into intuitive visual collaboration experiences.Work on real-time multiplayer performance, canvas interactions, and integrations between Whiteboards and other Atlassian tools (like Jira and Confluence pages).Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code, contributing actively to peer code reviews and technical design discussions.Monitor service health, investigate and resolve bugs/production issues, and drive operational excellence.Participate actively in Agile rituals including sprint planning, standups, retrospectives, and demos.
